February Style Tone Unboxing!

I've recently discovered a Dutch beauty subscription box called StyleTone. If you don't know about them, be sure to read my last post here! In a nutshell, StyeTone every month the subscriber receives five full-sized beauty or skincare products, all of which are either cruelty-free or vegan. These items can range from makeup products like lipgloss and mascaras, to skincare items such as masks or scrubs, to makeup tools and accessories such as makeup brushes! I get super excited when my StyleTone box is delivered. Here's what I received in my subscription box for the month of February!

The very first item is a Supreme Eyeliner by Lord & Berry, valued at 18€.

Instead of a regular kohl or liquid eyeliner, this is shaped like a pencil liner but has a creamy texture and waterproof formula. The eyeliner has a metallic shine and a gorgeous colour called 'Smart Green'.

Next up, I received a gorgeous strobe cream by Emité, valued at 29€. This is in the shade 'Diamond Heart'.

What I like about this is that it suits all skin-tones, it's easy to blend with foundation or wear as just a highlighter, or a shimmery shadow. The product is a must-have as it's honestly so versatile.

The third product is a Manna Kadar Priming Lip Wand. Once again, this products suits every skin-tone.

The colour is beautiful too, and in the shade 'Joie'. Either apply it like a lip-liner for more definition or just add a wash of colour by wearing it as a lipstick, especially in Spring.

The fourth product is also by Manna Kadar and it's a lash primer. This is another must-have; if you have short eyelashes like I do, you'll love this product as it lengthens them.

The lash primer also protects your lashes from damage because you can use it as a conditioner when you sleep, and makes it easier to take mascara off. For 19,95€, it's the perfect weapon.

Finally, and also my favourite product. It's a coffee scrub! This one is from Nacomi - they're a company that produces products to those dedicated to a healthy lifestyle and specifically designed for people with allergies. Not only is it vegan, but the caffeine acts as an anti-oxidant. The scrub results in "a smoother and firmer skin through the dehydration of fat cells and the constriction of blood vessels." For all you coffee lovers, this body scrub is only 5,50€!

I loved this month's unboxing! Did you like it?
 What was your favourite product?

Until next time,

13 Hacks for Low Waste Air Travel | Lifestyle

One thing I often get asked when I travel is 'how do you travel low-waste?', so in today's post, I want to share what I've learnt about traveling sustainably. Often people forget that where they're going may have the biggest impact on sustainable travel. It's no secret that traveling by train is the greener option and should probably the first choice for travel if the destination is close, but if you're flying, here's ways to reduce your carbon footprint.
1. Before you leave

Try to book a direct flight to save on carbon emissionsGo digital  - Download all tickets and refuse paper receipts (unless you need to keep info on paper). This also includes downloading entertainment, instead of buying books or magazines before your trip. Try and get the books secondhand or from the library. Travel light - People pack more than they will ever need to use or wear while on holiday. I try to travel using only carry on luggage by taking into consideration t…

My 3 Step Skincare Routine & Why I Don't Use Coconut Oil ☆

I wear makeup often. About four days out of the week, and I like to do a full coverage routine. It's a preference that I've had for ages as I feel like it just completes the whole makeup look but one thing about me is that I don't clean my brushes nearly as often as I should.  I've recently gotten in the habit of doing so because if I don't, I get horrible breakouts on my cheeks, nose and along my jaw. My skin type is oily and oily skin can also be very acne prone so breakouts are often unexpected. To keep them at bay, I  simplified my skincare routine. I've narrowed it down to three cruelty-free and zero waste products which I use almost daily.

The first product is a facial soap from a zero waste store called Babongo. It's a Pine & Charcoal face soap which I use to cleanse my face  every morning and before I go to sleep. The product is completely natural which I love and maintains the oiliness of my skin.

It was also packaged in paper packaging which i…

What's In My Travel Makeup Bag?! ♡

I was looking through some old posts for future inspiration and i came across my old post about what I keep with me when I travel. A lot has changed since that post regarding beauty and skincare and I'm excited to share it with you! As always, everything I own regarding beauty and most things I own regarding skincare (unless medicated) are cruelty-free or vegan. Here's what is in my current travel makeup bag, in the order that I apply my products!
Eyebrow Kit & Lashes

The Wet n Wild Eyebrow Kit in the shade 'Brunette' has been a holy grail in my makeup kit, not just when I travel. I love that it comes with two pressed eyebrow powders; a dark brown and a black. It includes a wax to set the hairs in place, a tweezer for any last minute fixes, a brush applicator to apply the product and a built in mirror for only €4.79 if you purchase it from BoozyShop. It's one of my favourite drugstore purchases and if you're looking for a new eyebrow product, this might be a …
