A Youtube Channel & Changing The Blog | Personal Update

Hello, friends!

This is just a very short update to let you know that I've finally decided to start my very own Youtube Channel. I must admit, I'm not sure how consistent I'll be in actually posting, but I've filmed and edited quite a bit recently and those of you who have seen what I've created seem to like it so far. My Youtube channel is not a space to talk about beauty, skincare, etc. It's going to be a visual journal of my life and the memories I capture as I live them. Of course, I'll share a few beauty related things on there, but beauty will be far from the main focus. I've created a few videos, so be sure to subscribe to my channel and comment any videos you'd like to see if you haven't yet!

Additionally, my blog will be changing too! While I adore makeup and sharing that interest with you, serious topics need to be addressed, especially the topics that the media is refusing to mention. We're still going to keep things light and fun, with a beauty post here and a travel post there, but again, I'm looking forward to transitioning this space completely; I'm growing and my interests are expanding and I'd like for this blog to do that as well. Thank you for sticking around, I appreciate you all and I hope you're doing well!

Juicy Couture | Couture La La Malibu Review

The Juicy Couture La La Malibu perfume
Today I am reviewing this beautiful Juicy Couture Couture La La Malibu perfume that I saw in store the other day. When my eyes saw it on the shelf,  my mind just went "gimme!" I decided to treat myself as I've really been wanting a Juicy Couture perfume for ages now and just went for it. The perfume was an absolute bargain for only €17.00 at Kruidvat, so I really had no excuse not to get it*.

The packaging is so gorgeous; pink and palm trees with silver accents that add a glamorous factor!

The perfume is in a ombre pink box that has a hot pink border and is is decorated with palm trees.  The glass bottle itself is gorgeous with the same palm trees as on the box it comes in and the lid is a big heart with the words 'Juicy Couture' engraved in silver across it. I love how the product is packaged as it looks absolutely stunning. I keep it on my white IKEA malm desk and the pop of colour it adds to my room just reminds me of summer.

Product & Scent
I love the way the Couture La La Juicy Malibu smells! Though some call it the perfect Spring scent, I'm sure I'm going to love this year around. It's definitely one of my favourite scents as it reminds me of candies and pink roses. It's lightweight, fresh, youthful and not too heavy. I wear it daily  as it is a firm favourite and a staple in my getting ready routine in the morning.

Application & Durability
The perfume has the standard application procedure and it lasts for a few hours. It's durable and don't need any touch ups, though I personally like to reapply if it's very humid out. It's definitely worth the money and I love that it's so soft and gentle while still leaving a very faint lingering smell after application.

What did you think of the review? Do you own any Juicy Couture products? Let me know in the comments what else you'd like to see!

*Update: I was not aware / didn't do proper research that Juicy Couture wasn't a cruelty-free company, otherwise I would not have purchased the perfume. Unfortunately I have already started using it so I'm going to continue until it's finished and then look for a cruelty-free dupe.
