StyleTone: Thoughts on the January Unboxing Edition ♡

When I first moved to the Netherlands, StyleTone was the first ever subscription box community I joined. I recently decided to treat myself to the New Year edition since I had previously unsubscribed from StyleTone! I'm super excited to unbox it since it contains gorgeous cruelty-free and often full-sized products. The StyleTone box contains 5 products in total which are a combination of makeup and skincare items. Since the second box is on it's way, I thought it would be fun to share my thoughts on the first box of the year.

The first item that I unboxed was the Beautaniq Beauty Guardian Angel Revitalising Eye Gels.  It was simple packaging which contained one pair of eye gels that are super easy to apply.

It's designed for tired eyes which helps with concealing dark circles and puffiness. Made with cucumber green tea, rose water and hyaluronic acid, the product hydrates and brightens. Definitely a go-to before makeup application!

The next product I received is the Emité Makeup Precision Eyeliner. It is a  black liquid eyeliner that is both smudge-proof and waterproof. The product is highly pigmented and lasted an entire day out, even in this gloomy weather we're experiencing here in the Netherlands!

To be fair, I'm not sure if this item is a hit or miss for me. I don't often wear eyeliner, so I will likely give it to a friend but because it is smudge and waterproof, I also feel inclined give this product the green light.

The next item is the Manna Kadar Glo Shimmer Lotion, which is a hydrating universal liquid highlighter. I love Manna Kadar products and this was no exception.

The product is easy to apply, not glittery, suits all skin tones and has a pastel pink sheen to it. When swatched, it has high pigmentation, great consistency, and sheer formula. My favourite thing about this product is that it is for both your face and body.

The fourth product that I unboxed is the Hikari Matte Bronzer in 'Laguna Beach'. At first glance, I thought it was a blush (to be honest, I will probably use it as such) but it's a matte bronzer.

Though an absolutely stunning product, it was a bit disappointing because it didn't suit my skintone. When swatched, it was a bit chalky but after wearing it for a day out, I changed my mind as it's actually very long lasting with a subtle glow to it. I'm not sure if I'd reach for this product though, it seems to be better suited to those with a fairer skin tone.

The fifth and final product of the StyleTone box was the Skin Tonic London Rose Mist. I absolutely adore rose water face mists so this was another favourite in the bunch!

Rose water is great for your skin because it helps to combat redness, brightens the skin, can relieve headaches and also controls excess oil - perfect for those with oily skin like me! Rose water is also an excellent toner and relieves symptoms of skin conditions such as eczema. It's an all-rounder really, as it also helps to keep pores clean.

Let me know what you thought of today's unboxing! Are you subscribed to StyleTone or any other subscription box?

Love, Miah
